When a html or xhtml document is edited multiple times is very easy to mess the code making it unreadable. Especially if you use many nested DIVs (or even worse nested TABLEs) it can become difficult to remember how the document is structured.
HTML Beautifier will help you to solve many of these problems. This tool can process a html/xhtml document and reformat it with a correct indentation of tags and syntax highlighting.
The beautified code can then be printed or saved to a text or rtf file.
Syntax Highlighting
When syntax highlighting is enabled you can choose color and font style for any element of the html/xhtml document you are going to format: tag name, attribute name, attribute value, comments.
Syntax highlighting settings are obviously ignored when the formatted code is saved to a plain text file.
Other Options
- Markup. Select whether the code will be formatted in HTML or XHTML style.
- Do not indent ... Select a list of tags that will not be indented, i.e. they will be displayed inline in the formatted code.
